First time to try this gem for dessert, and we were very happy! A slice of pie runs about $6, but they are fantastic and well worth it. There's not a lot of parking on Oak St. but there are public parking lots located nearby and the whole area is worth walking around. The service was great, and the quaint little store has a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

I had cherry, blueberry, chocolate and banana cream and it was the BEST PIES , I have ever had. I am 60 and have plenty of PIES in my life and these by far are EXCELLENT

OMG! I needed that pie-Key Lime Pie ...the perfect ratios of filling, graham cracker crust, topped with a generous amount of whipped cream, garnished with a cherry on top and a slither of lime! A-Mazing

Every pie we've friend has been great. The key lime is my favorite! I recommend everyone to stop by here when being in Roanoke!

Always love Oak St. Pie Co. pies, so good and fresh! My go to is their Cherry pie and I arrived just in time as it is still hot and fresh out of the oven. If you are looking to order pies for Thanksgiving, check online for ordering deadline. Did you know they are located next to Babes in Roanoke with plenty of parking? My routine is to order Babes Chicken on the phone, arrive early, park to pick up a pie and wait for my Chicken Dinner Order...that way I get both my fried chicken and pie cravings taken care of. And if you want just a slice, you can order whatever flavor you like, add a scoop of bluebell and sit outside where they have a nice area to enjoy your slice of pie.

Wow! What happened to downtown Roanoke since I was here last? My first visits in the early 90's after the long drive to the middle of nowhere were to get great fried chicken at one of the first locations of Babes that always had a line outside the door! Between Babes, The Classic Cafe, the water tower and a crumbling building that (I think?) is now the much restored Visitor's Center and Museum, there really wasn't much more to speak of. Really impressed by the downtown area including making the newer buildings look like they've been there forever. The Oak St. Pie company is a great addition to all the other "new" options. I can only speak to the strawberry rhubarb pie which, as luck would have it, had just come out of the oven! It was delicious with just the right amount of "tang". I do believe I enjoyed their version slightly better than the other iconic Texas pie places I've reviewed before--Judy Pie (Grapevine) and The Texas Pie Company (Kyle). But you really can't go wrong with any of the three! Price-wise Oak Street is just a bit over half way between the two with The Texas Pie company definitely winning "best bang for your buck"! Worth a visit to enjoy the downtown restaurants with a stop for pie after!

The owner and the staff are always very sweet and accommodating. Their pies change seasonally, and everything I've ever tasted has been yummy! One of my favorites is the strawberry rhubarb. They also offer a raspberry rhubarb. You can buy a whole pie and ask them to cut it up so you can freeze it. The benefit to doing this is that you can take out a piece of a sliced pie and defrost it and enjoy it one slice at a time and be able to have pie ready whenever you desire. Best hack ever! And by the way, they do make handmade crust, and it is excellent. Very flaky and not too thick or dense.

Cute, tiny, shop with fudge, cobbler, pie and cookies for the taking. Pies are classic flavors, they didn't have a blackberry pie but did have a blackberry cobbler which I heated up and enjoyed. The crust was wonderful, berries were full and it was certainly sweet but not in an overdone sugar kind of way. Overall a good stop.
